Not Just Roomy Apartments...

It's The Other Amenities
That Make Living At Locust Park
So Enjoyable

Laundry Facilities

Each of the five buildings at Locust Park has a community laundry room equipped with full-size, coin-operated washers and dryers. Laundry rooms are open and available for use between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM daily.

Parking

Off-street parking is provided for tenants only, and parking permits are required. One parking space is allowed for each unit, and one additional space is allowed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Vehicles must be registered, insured, and in operable condition. Vehicle repair work, maintenance, and oil changes are not allowed.

Loud exhausts on motorcycles are prohibited by the City of Loveland. There is a $1000 fine for illegal, high-noise motorcycle exhausts. Additional penalties also apply when you exceed city noise-limit standards.

Swimming Pool

Open from June 1 to September 1 every year, Locust Park boasts the warmest heated outdoor pool in all of Loveland.

The pool is open daily from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Tenants are allowed to have one guest with them in the pool area. Pool permits are required.

Pool safety rules are posted in the pool area, and must be followed. Violation of pool rules can result in pool privileges being revoked.

No lifeguard is provided, and children under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Using Outdoor Barbecue Grills

Some tenants enjoy being able to use a barbecue grill, but they must be used with care, and in compliance with fire safety rules. These rules are specified by the International Fire Code which has been adopted by the City of Loveland.

To help eliminate any confusion about what's required, here are the basic guidelines and requirements if you own a grill and plan to barbecue:

  • Grilling on patios and balconies is prohibited by law.
  • Propane tanks and grills must not be stored inside of apartments. Storing them neatly on balcony or patio is permitted.
  • Propane is extremely explosive, and it is illegal to store tanks inside of any apartment at any time.
  • When you use a grill, it must be located at least ten feet from any building, overhang, or any combustible (such as wood) structure, including fences.
  • When in use, the grill must be attended by a responsible adult at all times, including the cool-down period after use. This is to ensure safety against accidental burns on any children or others who might be in the area during that time.
  • Combustible liquids such as charcoal lighter fluid must also not be stored inside the apartment, and must not be left outdoors on a patio where they are easily accessible to others.

Some tenants enjoy grilling in the pool area, on the lawn, or elsewhere, well away from any buildings. Be especially careful when there is a breeze or light wind. In heavier wind, grilling is not allowed.
